NoiseWipe policies
Terms of Service
The terms that govern access to NoiseWipe accounts, audio processing, purchases, and generated outputs.
Effective August 3, 2026
1. Agreement and eligibility
These Terms form an agreement between you and NoiseWipe when you access or use the service. You must be legally able to enter this agreement. If you use NoiseWipe for an organization, you represent that you can bind that organization, and “you” includes it.
2. Your account
Provide accurate information, keep credentials secure, and promptly notify us of unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable security. We may limit or suspend access when necessary to protect the service, investigate abuse, or comply with law.
3. Your content and permissions
You retain ownership of recordings, videos, and other material you submit. You grant NoiseWipe a limited, worldwide license to host, copy, transmit, and process that content solely to operate, secure, and support the service. This license ends when the content is deleted, subject to short-lived backups and legal retention requirements.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload the content and request its processing, including any necessary consent from recorded people. Do not use NoiseWipe to misrepresent a recording's origin or meaning.
4. Service and outputs
Automated restoration is probabilistic. Outputs may contain artifacts, omit sounds, or alter details. You must review results before relying on them in journalism, legal matters, safety decisions, accessibility workflows, or other high-impact contexts. NoiseWipe does not guarantee that a damaged recording can be restored.
5. Paid features
Prices, included usage, expiration rules, and recurring billing terms are shown at purchase. You authorize us and our payment provider to charge the selected method. Taxes may be added where required. Except where law or our Refund Policy provides otherwise, completed processing and consumed credits are non-refundable.
6. Acceptable use
You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. You may not interfere with the service, evade limits, probe systems without permission, distribute malware, violate another person's rights, or use outputs for unlawful deception or harm.
7. Intellectual property
NoiseWipe and its licensors own the service, software, branding, documentation, and related intellectual property. These Terms give you a limited, non-transferable right to use the service; they do not transfer ownership. Feedback may be used without restriction or obligation.
8. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. NoiseWipe is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost data, revenue, or profits. Our total liability for claims related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid NoiseWipe in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow all of these limits.
9. Termination and changes
You may stop using the service at any time. We may terminate access for material breach, legal necessity, security risk, or discontinued service. Provisions that by nature should survive will do so. We may revise these Terms and will provide reasonable notice of material changes. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.
